We have been made aware this morning, of an incident where the 3CX Desktop App for VoIP calling may contain a trojan (virus) that may cause harm to your computer or network.
This affects only the latest versions of the 3CX Desktop App (18.12.407) and above.
We have scanned all managed IT client's machines for this version, blocked it on all security tools and hard blocked malicious IP addresses at all internet gateways for clients who use 3CX.
We have not discovered any instances of the app installed, or any compromise, however we are monitoring the situation carefully, and will notify any affected clients via phone and email.
